ROCK STAR PETS EMPLOYMENT

     We are looking for pet lovers to join our team. We need workers that have experience with dog walking and pet sitting and have a passion for working with pets and their people. We are hiring a Lead and part time Dog Walker/Pet Sitter. If interested, the hours will increase as our business grows. We offer mileage reimbursement and can be flexible with scheduling.  

• Dog walks vary between 20 minutes and two hours
• Available one or more days between 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.
• Able to walk for long periods of time in all weather conditions
• Able to walk 1-3 dogs of all sizes and temperaments

• Most pet sitting visits are 15-45 minutes; early mornings and evenings
• Feed, freshen water, potty breaks, clean litter boxes
• Walk or play with pets

Part Time Dog Walker/Pet Sitter is paid by the job (approximately $12.50-$17.00/hour)

The Lead does all the work of the Dog Walker/Pet Sitter plus meet with new clients, assist in scheduling, train new employees, be first point of contact for other walkers and take on last minute jobs.  The Lead is paid by the job at a higher rate (approximately $16-$24/hour).  

• Be an animal lover and comfortable with all pets
• At least 21 years of age with high school diploma or equivalent
• Responsible, trustworthy, prompt, and have detail-oriented work ethic
• Available weekends and holidays
• Reliable transportation, clean driving record, auto insurance and a valid driver's license
• Reliable communication via cell, text and email
• Live in the Evergreen area
• Consent to and pass a background check

Keep in mind we walk puppies and cuddle kitties -- but we also walk, and drive, in all weather, pick up poop, clean litter boxes and other messes.
